Zee, have you by any chance altered compass orientation yet from 38 to 0? If not you will get get magnetic interference as the compass will not relate to the onboard compass in the pixhawk In Tower or mission planner look for compass_orient. It should be set to 38 if you haven't changed it...

It is a bit hit and miss through the hdmi on the controller if you have a hdmi on your tablet hook up to that in stead.
