So the consensus is that it will not be possible to trigger a camera with a Solo?

None of the options for a camera trigger in the Mission Planner parameters have the same name as any of the pins on the expansion port. Can I set pin 12, 13, or 23 to act as a relay? Is that how I would go about it? What would they be called in the parameters?

Wow it worked. I wouldn't have thought it would have made a difference to wait a few minutes before connecting. I had been letting the solo connect to the controller and then connecting to WiFi. I made a lucky guess on the log number and got the flight before the one I was looking for, so...

I've tried putty and bitvise. The very first time I tried the loadLog.py I at least got a progress bar, but it stopped half way. I waited for like an hour before rebooting. Since then I think I've only gotten a progress bar two more times, but it never finishes. Mostly "no heartbeat received".

I connect via ssh to 10.1.1.10 with username root. Type "loadLog.py latest" and it connects to the pixhawk. A few times it started to copy the dataflash logs, but it has never been successful. 49 times out of 50 it says "no heartbeat received." Rebooting doesn't work, disconnecting and...

I'm familiar with the article, I have used this technique many times. But it doesn't help me fill in the gaps in the logs from a lack of connectivity during the flight. The only advice on that subject in the article is that I should get a better antenna.

When I use the tower logs, all the images taken while the controller was not in contact with the Solo are tagged with the location where the Solo last had contact with the controller.

The solo was disconnected from the controller a few times yesterday. I need the logs off the solo so I can geotag the images. Specifically, I need the logs off the pixhawk, I believe, as I can't find any location information in the logs folder on the solo.

I am trying to make a chdk cable. I got some OSH Park ~ Solo 3DR Bus Accessory Connector Breakout boards. Can anyone tell me what pins are the PWM pins? Thanks

I haven't had any luck retrieving my logs. I keep getting the "No heartbeat received" error. Sometimes it starts the transfer, but never finishes. Usually the no heartbeat thing though. Rebooting does nothing. When I try to use mission planner I get an error receiving the log list...

You'll get about three minutes of flight time with a pound. I am exaggerating, but with 300 grams 12 minutes, 15 minutes at the most.

I would also like to use a usb trigger. It seems that 3dr is keeping the accessory bay connector a secret so if you want to make a USB trigger you're going to have to solder it. Pins 1, 3... and... which one for the third? 14, 18 or 19 I think. If anyone is more brave than me, please take...
