    Future of Solo

So the consensus is that it will not be possible to trigger a camera with a Solo?

    Future of Solo

None of the options for a camera trigger in the Mission Planner parameters have the same name as any of the pins on the expansion port. Can I set pin 12, 13, or 23 to act as a relay? Is that how I would go about it? What would they be called in the parameters?

    How To: Reading Solo Logs

Wow it worked. I wouldn't have thought it would have made a difference to wait a few minutes before connecting. I had been letting the solo connect to the controller and then connecting to WiFi. I made a lucky guess on the log number and got the flight before the one I was looking for, so...

    How To: Reading Solo Logs

I've tried putty and bitvise. The very first time I tried the loadLog.py I at least got a progress bar, but it stopped half way. I waited for like an hour before rebooting. Since then I think I've only gotten a progress bar two more times, but it never finishes. Mostly "no heartbeat received".

    How To: Reading Solo Logs

I connect via ssh to 10.1.1.10 with username root. Type "loadLog.py latest" and it connects to the pixhawk. A few times it started to copy the dataflash logs, but it has never been successful. 49 times out of 50 it says "no heartbeat received." Rebooting doesn't work, disconnecting and...

    How To: Reading Solo Logs

I'm familiar with the article, I have used this technique many times. But it doesn't help me fill in the gaps in the logs from a lack of connectivity during the flight. The only advice on that subject in the article is that I should get a better antenna.

    How To: Reading Solo Logs

When I use the tower logs, all the images taken while the controller was not in contact with the Solo are tagged with the location where the Solo last had contact with the controller.

    Future of Solo

    Thank you so much, you've been a big help. I don't suppose any of these pins would be the equivalent of: 13-APM2 A9 pin 47-APM1 relay 50-Pixhawk FMU AUX1 51-Pixhawk FMU AUX2 52-Pixhawk FMU AUX3 53-Pixhawk FMU AUX4 54-Pixhawk FMU AUX5 55-Pixhawk FMU AUX6 111-PX4 FMU Relay1 112-PX4 FMU Relay2...

    How To: Reading Solo Logs

The solo was disconnected from the controller a few times yesterday. I need the logs off the solo so I can geotag the images. Specifically, I need the logs off the pixhawk, I believe, as I can't find any location information in the logs folder on the solo.

I am trying to make a chdk cable. I got some OSH Park ~ Solo 3DR Bus Accessory Connector Breakout boards. Can anyone tell me what pins are the PWM pins? Thanks

    How To: Reading Solo Logs

I haven't had any luck retrieving my logs. I keep getting the "No heartbeat received" error. Sometimes it starts the transfer, but never finishes. Usually the no heartbeat thing though. Rebooting does nothing. When I try to use mission planner I get an error receiving the log list...

SOLO Payload and using multiple cameras like Kodak SP 360 & GoPro

You'll get about three minutes of flight time with a pound. I am exaggerating, but with 300 grams 12 minutes, 15 minutes at the most.

    Solo Cannon S100/110 mount

I would also like to use a usb trigger. It seems that 3dr is keeping the accessory bay connector a secret so if you want to make a USB trigger you're going to have to solder it. Pins 1, 3... and... which one for the third? 14, 18 or 19 I think. If anyone is more brave than me, please take...

    Solo and CHDK

It's kind of like a car company selling a new car by talking about how great the trunk is. "you could put anything in this trunk... An ice cream machine, a spare engine, anything!" But then after you buy the car they tell you that you're not getting the key to the trunk, you'll have to pick...

    Solo and CHDK

Thanks, that is some useful info. Oddly hard to find. Any idea what kind of a connector that is on the bottom of the solo?
