I'm getting 404 errors when following the links.

I would think it would impact how it flies. Solo may even refuse to take off until it is calibrated. That is assuming it is out of calibration.

I have never calibrated mine but it works great. No issues with drift etc. and no plans to calibrate unless something changes.

Interesting. Has anyone seen an open box at Best Buy for sale or do the go back to 3DR? They are sold out at all 4 of our Best Buy's and the sales guys said they sell within hours of arriving. I just lucked into mine....right place at the right time.

I had the same issue and 3dr tech support assisted me with using putty.exe to access "root" on the controller and calibrate it. Once that was done the error went away and has not returned. I'm not sure if they have already done this with yours but I would suggest you ask them to do it before...
