I am already on version 3 for my hero4 black but the solo app keeps warning me that I need to update / can't control the gopro without the update. If I turn off the GoPro and back on sometimes it dismisses the message and I can control the GoPro. Anyone else experience this?

ND filters are supposed to help a lot with jello. I have mine on order from ragecams

Yes, there is a slider to determine how fast or slow it moves. For this flight, it was on the slowest setting.

Solo was about 90-100ft up maybe less and I was almost directly under it total line of sight. Possible issues being in urban environment or signal loss due to other unknown issue?

Was using my iPhone for GoPro view. I had already done the same for 4 other flights. Battery was about 60% on the Solo and 90+ % on controller.
