I just got my APC's. I'm noticing that they're heftier than the stock Solo props, especially around the hub area. I had to grab my Solo with the stock props when it tried to take-off without my permission and got a decent slice on my thumb (could have been worse). I suspect that these APC's...

I can probably fly the Solo right from my yard to where you work...Sunday is supposed to warm up above 50 and I'm planning to burn a few packs getting my NEW Solo sorted out. I was thinking of Brentwood State Park. Really nice soccer fields with no people this time of year.

On Long Island, New York in Bay Shore

I put a small thin open end wrench beneath the prop on the motor housing (10mm ?) to hold in place when loosening the props that are beyond hand tight. A tighter prop is better than a loose one :)

I had a few minor mis-fly's in my backyard. Low height and the bird went off in its own direction, once hit the fence and the second time it clipped the house. I just broke a few props. I did the calibration when I first got it out of the box. I've gotten into the practice of calibrating...
