Looking into possibly getting birdside antennas, not sure if its even possible on the solo. If it is, does anyone have one on theirs? Is it better to go with the fpvlr remote side antenna/ circular polarized birdside antennas, or itelite remote side/linear birdside antennas?

kind of like this? supposedly hes been able to go like 3 miles while in his car with the antenna on the outside. would be good if he can convert that from phantom use to solo use.

im sure they have rules and regulations in place they need to follow in regards to repairs, let them fix it for you. I agree its annoying but a lot of other drone companies that offer repairs on their products do the same thing.

I've been with them since day 1, just like you. ive actually been using 3dr before they even came out with the solo, which is why i wanted to try their mass consumer model. They are being marketed as future proof, but come on man, we all know their marketing isnt exactly the most truthful...

obviously they would never ever put out an improved version of the solo 1. business is business. idk, these were just glaring issues to me for spending 2k on a drone. just simple design flaws that couldve easily been avoided. just frustrated and venting :(
