I've been having this problem lately also. When I take it up to 400 ft. almost straight up I lose signal. I have alfas on but now am thinking I should do wifi card upgrade also. Is it just because antennas are in legs and being straight overhead is a bad angle? I tried to point alfas up at solo...

Search "ok to fly without a leg compass", I noted the colors for compass and the numbers to change in mission planner. I had a bad leg compass and now use the one on my 18 dollar eBay m8n GPS.

HTC RE Cam. 16 megapixels...takes nice pics. But no hdmi out. Been using it time lapse, every two seconds it takes a pic.

I think the fly away I had was because of it. Showed magnetic interference while flying away...

I've only had mine a couple months but I changed the GPS right away after having compass problems. I had a rev B but I have noticed an improvement with m8n GPS. More sats, ready to fly faster.

Let's see, I've only had mine a couple months. Came with a bad leg compass so had to fight to get it to calibrate. Had a fly away into a tree. After putting in Gps much more stable and no fly a ways. Hit a tree on a low pass, pilot error. Kid "borrowed" it while I was gone, flipped it right over...

Yeah, don't really have a need for it. If someone chimes in here and says I shouldn't have declined takeoff and landing or I shouldn't have programmed a landing, or has some idea of why it landed started to power down and then flipped over, maybe I'll try it again.
