There is so much mixed info out there in regards to calibrating the compass, some only calibrate when the message pops up, some say calibrate in every new flying location, its all hocus pokus!

Did you send 3DR the flight log for them to determine pod three failed, I couldn't see -8 doing this honestly but who knows.

The white one i assume is DJI, not to start anything but DJI is no better at all it comes with its own set of issues, some i have experienced first hand.

Solo backpack for me more than enough room for everything needed and then some.Very well constructed and offers great protection.

you guys are right....'My mac book pro can't keep up when trying to edit with the Go pro studio, watching the videos on my mac with nothing else running in the background they are fantastic no jumping at all. Time to upgrade i think.....

Hi I am brand new to the 3dr pilots so i say hi to everyone. I just recieved my Solo and wondering if it is recommended to calibrate the compass before every new location. I have DJI products and that calibration was a standard and i am curious if its recommended with the Solo. Thanks all....
