I went 4599 ft with stock antennas on the levee near my house, i stopped because i lost vlos and was nearing a freeway overpass. Not sure how much further i could have gone.

Glad you brought that up, ive never heard of them. Gonna go research now.

After reading this thread and a neighbor telling me today my solo sounds like a swarm of bees, I'm going to have an artist friend of mine paint mine to look like a bumblebee as best he can. I'll post it when it's done.

I just flew 4600 feet with stock antenna the only reason not further was fear of hitting freeway overpass over one of our levees here in sacramento. Going to try for a mile later this evening with the wife on the other end of the mile. Trying to post a pic i took of my controller display here...
