Every time I think I'm hot s**t with the 3DR, I go back and fly my palm-sized $20 XS12 through basic and radical maneuvers in the house. Doesn't take long to soon realize how grateful I am for GPS and baro stabilization.

Where are you getting the OEM battery jacks?

I had similar issue with 3+ Black, problem was the Solo did not like the default 48fps. Switched to 60fps and all is well.

That's not true. First, I'd suggest any "right mind" manufacturer would want to include a user manual, especially with a product as potentially complex as this. Second, 3DR does include paper: two large setup cards, in English and French. But neither references that a full manual exists, let...

LOL! Problem is, I didn't get one of those friendly manuals in my box, and no one typically offers a link to it. A lot of us new to the 3DR Solo are left scratching our heads thinking "RTFM" is an inside joke... ;) It's a good reference, answered most of my questions.

For future reference, I've had small electronics repaired by the guy below. He's replaced USB ports on both my Garmin GPS and GoPro camera, as well as replacing a soldered battery on a PC board in a race car dash. Good work, fair pricing, quick turnaround. Welcome !
