I think I have it set on the next position from slowest. I was trying to turn as slowly as possible. Perhaps I should have moved the stick a little more and see if going slightly faster would have smoothed it out. Or trying the other direction to see if it was the same that way. Thank you, Graham

The spare battery I ordered from Amazon arrived from USA to the UK in five days, ordered 23rd, dispatched 26th and arrived 28th. Expected date was 11th-26th July. Very impressed. Just waiting for the V2 shield to arrive which was ordered at the same time.

Hi Maddog, the one you linked to was about $22 shipping. I can get eight from eBay UK for about £4-5 with free shipping. The one in your link and the one I can find here show 3m and VHB on the tape but who knows if it is genuine. I will buy 8 and sacrifice one or two for test purposes

I did what I normally do. Added to cart and followed the process through. When something doesn't ship to the UK it tells you there's a problem with your order. It went right through ok

Have you turned the mount 90 degrees so you are gripping top and bottom? I expect you are trying to grip left and right along the long edge

Apart from quicker lock and more satellites would a knock on effect be better stability. Any other benefits? Graham
