I had issues after the new update with level cal. Also I read somewhere on the forum if you updated to the newest public app to calibrate the compass first then level cal it may fix some issue there is with the machine. I did it and haven't had to level calibrate since.

Un-installed both 3dr services and the solo app and re installed. The map view still flashes over the video view but now so briefly that I cannot actually tell it's the map view just a white flash. The video feed while not recording is amazing and no white flashes with hardly any latency.

I I will do the app re install tonight and let you know.

I will try to do a screen shot. It is the whole gps screen (the third screen when you tap the Center of the screen) flashes momentarily over the camera view while recording.

Only issue I have had came after the last update. The video feed is constantly interrupted or does not come up at all Everything else works awesome. Stock gps and it seems faster than ever. But that darn video feed just does not want to come up.

I have been finding that solo has been asking to calibrate quite often if I have been carrying the quad nose down in the backpack I have set up for touring around/hiking etc. almost immediately after switching from the hard case I was using before, so maybe a little extra rattling around? Hey every one I was just wondering if any one knew the diameter and the thread pitch on the solo controller thumb sticks or the gimbal ends as some call them, also if anybody has seen replacement or different styles out there that will fit.

Will the wifi update work if new wifi cards have been installed as a mod or will I have to put the originals back in?

Does anyone have any idea of the average life of the motors with no damage and what will likely fail first. Thanks

2000 feet max distance with stock antenna and wifi

Just wondering how the range is affected with just the wifi mod and how well streaming works. I would like to upgrade just the wifi cards without doing any antenna mods just to get that little bit more distance but do not exactly know how the controls and video will be affected.
