I noticed the same thing when I installed the mRo unit... my guess was that while it takes advantage of the 2 other satellite networks, it still needs a certain number of satellites from the US network to be happy (or maybe it needs a minimum number of satellites from one of the networks)...

That does seem to have fixed the problem... flew twice since going to a 95MB/s card and have not had an issue with 2.7k/60

I've been using Sandisk Ultra Plus (80MB/s)... I do see it's not on the list of recommended cards... but the recommended one's are only up to 90MB/s, will it really make a difference?

Good thread, I have the 16 second freezing problem since I switched the GoPro to 2.7k/60. My only difference is that I must have the older GoPro firmware because my camera IS turning on and off with the solo.

I agree that with the performance sliders turned all the way down the solo is extremely well behaved. I don't plan on touching those sliders for quite a while.

That's exactly the unit I bought... there were multiple low-res tablets for a LOT less but while the solo won't care about the added resolution, some of the other tools will take advantage of it (mapping and satellite imagery for instance). Besides... I've not had any device with resolution...
