Maybe a level issue? Poorly designed power supply on the battery side may be over-driving the arduino inputs when the battery is fully charged?

What was you RTH height, and how high is that tower? Looks like you lost radio contact behind it, the solo would have tracked back to your start position at RTH height. If the tower is higher, could be on the roof...

Ok looks like people have successfully charged Solo batteries using a RC lipo charger. I assume the smart circuitry in the battery takes care of balancing the cells. Once we get a calm day I will have a fly then try recharging using the lipo charger. Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk

Just noticed that the no fly zones in the new app are too large for Australia. CASA rules set the no fly radius to 5.5 kms (3NM), it is 5 miles for US? An example for Moorabbin airport in Melbourne, from the app: and from the CASA web site: Not much of a difference but annoying nonetheless.

Yes, I had that happen too. Mind you the manual says that it starts in look at me and you need to press the follow button to go into follow mode. From memory I thought mine started in follow mode. Confusing...

Have you tried pairing your Solo and controller? Pairing the Controller | 3DR | Drone & UAV Technology If that works the I would be logging a ticket with 3DR as they shouldn't just "unpair".
