Will the hero3+ black work with full functionality? Or do I have to go with a 4.

I joined the solo family on this deal. Hard to believe they discontinued. Seems to be awesome quality. I haven't flown it yet but will this weekend but for $300 bucks it's the best deal to step into market. Didn't have a go pro but like the idea of being update or even enhance the camara later...
