Fpvlr antennas, they are directional, and we'll worth the money. Plug and fly installation. Was getting 1800 ft stock, with the Fpvlr s got 5400ft in town. Seen vids of people getting 12000 to 18000 ft in rural areas with low interference.
No not to difficult, best to not use a magnetic tools which can make it difficult for my fat fingers. You do have to pull the main board out. Plenty of YouTube videos out there.
My opinion is that it is definitely the HDMI connector inside of solo . Where it connects to the imx6 board is very fragile. If 3dr is no help you can buy the imx6 board on the net. I have had to replace mine it cost around $125.00 . Or maybe just the Cable, but I doubt it.
Mr paddles is asking when you turn Solo on does the gimble lift up or move any at all? If not it's probably in the power supply, either connectors or wires themselves. if it does wake up then it's in HDMI connectors or cable.
Everything you said is true.
How ever, since owning my mavic, phantom 3,solo,and both Bebop's have sat dormant. May take solo out today, thanks for reminding me of all the smiles it has given me over the past year.
Skip the cardboard and the tape, get the mro gps. Best money you will spend after purchase. 21 sats in the air , 15 on the ground.next must have is the Fpvlr antennas
Fun!! Exciting!!And a little nerve-racking!!!
But a few modes calmed me down alot.
MRO GPS swap and FPVLR antennas for controller. Probably do the wifi upgrade soon as well.
Interesting!
I'm just here to see what is said cause some of these guys are very intelligent about this stuff.Fpvlr antennas didn't help me as much as others claim.
Good luck with that, like to hear about how far you get.
