Wait for the gimbal...it's coming..I'm in Canada and I'm supposed to get mine next week after 5 months waiting...try if first then sell if it sucks...This is what I'm doing.. P3P has many drawbacks later..I'm doing the exact same as you..and almost pulled the trigger.. just saying..good luck

I've had mine now for couple of months and never had a problem, most solid platform i've ever had. I had a F550 before this and of course can't compare..I was thinking of dropping the SOLO to get the P3 because i'm still waiting for the gimbal and some horror stories behind the set up and image...
