Just thought I would give everyone that commented on my post an update. Today I received my Solo replacement. Now I have a real conundrum! Do I fly over water again? Its hard not to here since I am surrounded by it.

It sounds like a bird hit it. If it was a bird it probably made out worse then the Solo. Those props HURT!

Maybe your just over thinking this thing? It really couldn't be easier as long as you read the manual or at least the quick setup guide.

I did try that as well but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm going give them a week and then try again. In the mean time I picked up another one and bought a gp4 silver from GoPro. $219 for a rebuilt seems like a no brainier.
