This might explain why solo batteries discharge while sitting idle. Once the battery level drops to about 95% the electronics turn on inside of the battery which continuously draw a small current making the battery deplete over time.

Not powering the arduino from the solo battery. Levels would be too high to do that.

I tried it again. Had a fully charged battery powered on, and could not read any data from the battery. I placed the battery on the solo and let it drain to 95% and then put it back on the arduino, and I was able to read data.

Using this information I was able to modify this code and read data from Solo Batteries. I am having a small issue though. It seems that I can only read data from the battery if the battery is turned on, and if the battery has been freshly recharged I can't read any data at all. I was able...

They probably shut down the site because it was discounting everything in addition to the extra battery. I ordered a few other items and they were discounted at 100%. Now to see if they honor the incorrect discount.

I just want to be able to change settings from the controller when the bird is on the ground. I don't like the repeated disconnects of the go pro from the gimbal. One less disconnect and remount will lengthen the life of the contacts.

I just took the drop out and tried to take photos using Tower. Manually I can take images, but in the auto mode it still takes no images. I am using the latest Beta as well. I tested Gopro set to video and with it set to camera mode. I even tried two different Gopro cameras a hero3+ Black...

I can manually make the camera take photos, but it does not do this automatically the way that I would expect it to. Thanks for the information on how to set the gimbal angle.

How do I use Tower to control the camera. I have tried to build a plan with the survey feature and it says it will take x# of images and when the Solo returns and lands the camera has not taken any photos. I don't know how to control the gimbal through Tower either. What am I missing?
