    I have 2 SOLO's and 1 P3 Pro was going to preorder a maviic as an addtional quad because it so portable. But after reading this article GoPro Karma Drone and also i already have 2 gopros with no handheld gimbal I think i will go with Karma.

    Range is no problem in my country, the limit is on alititude and fly zone. I still love my Solo to have more fly range say 3km. it's more make sense to me due to its type and functionality . But for small compact traveling drone type I dont think 7km is necessary Yes , It is cool to have...

    For such a small compact drone any idea what is benefit to have such long range (7km)? Even with my SOLO or PH3pro i rarely fly those birds out of my sight. I only done that just for range test.

    Thanks, i returned mine to local SOLO distributor. And they send me a new set of SOLO as replacement. What a great after sales service !!.

    I have he same problem brand new solo out from the box, stuck on preflight update but no WiFI, can't even turn the controller off. Did try pull the battery off turned the controller back on but still no luck

    Old thread, but i just received mine yesterday and have same controller problem. Take the battery off still no luck. I'm thinking about returning the package..or any other idea beside opening the controller ?
