3DR has a working app already, just waiting for apple approval.
Whom ever said that Vu Tran stopped working for 3DR, Well sir your wrong!

Yea, it's it's all good that Vu is still with the team at lease what's left of it.

I am grateful that they are fixing the app, but that said, it is not a big deal to stay in step with new Apple libraries. If one completely ignores the developer notifications from Apple, what would they expect?
Let's hope we can keep Vu at his word, and ride out a few more iOS updates.

Can anyone speculate if they have addressed any other issues with the update, re: GoPro firmware v 4/5?

They "3dr" completed the update to fix the ios 10.3.1 crashing issues with solo app tonight. Great job 3dr robotics! Thanks !

What are functions to it

I downloaded SidePilot , not impressed with it as a replacement app. That being said the new update for the 3dr solo app is available, I'm currently updating it as I write this.

I could not stream video with side pilot. Will try again. It had some nice features like being able to see your location on a satellite map and the drones location
