Got some NEW & used Solo stuff, happy to make deals

I honestly haven't flown in 12-14 months, my GoPro died and I put everything on the shelf, and wound up investing in a new Canon DSLR body, so flight photography dropped off my priorities, and I'm not going to replace that GoPro at this point, just to fly again. So here's what I have (see...

Thanks guys - sorry for the post, seemed like a good idea if it could be rearranged to adapt, especially at that price point.

Need a new backpack? $30 with free shipping!

Posting this in the general section, Adorama is selling Lowepro drone backpacks via EBay for $29, free shipping. That's about $100 off. I don't need one myself, but wanted to share in case someone was interested! Lowepro DroneGuard CS 300 Backpack, Fits Parrot Bebop, Accessories #LP36917 | eBay

Solo LED Head Light and Tail Light

I do not. I really like the ability to change the LED lighting via Solex, but it is not a strobe. THAT, I would think, would burn more battery...

Solo LED Head Light and Tail Light

Not really. Very minimally, IMO not even really measurable. Tough to measure with so many other factors on each flight (wind, battery charge or consistency across batteries, etc). I think the benefits, at least for me for visibility at distances, is worth anything I might lose in battery range...

Solo LED Head Light and Tail Light

They fit in the backpack. They fit a little better when you shave a small bit off with a small razor blade, though, wherever they are snug. Way easier to leave the lights on the frame than remove every time, with that small mod to the backpack. Also good idea to tape (duct or electrical) across...

Is Anyone flying their Solo with Stock GPS? Poll

My first Solo had Rev A. Upgraded it to MRO pretty quickly, and also ordered and added the shield. Rev A worked ok, but I wanted the peace of mind (and cheap insurance) that both brought. Bought my spare Solo/backpack/gimbal during the big sales, then bought another MRO and shield. All THAT...

    The Time has come!

A Father Of The Year award for getting your girls to be part of your video. Well done. THEY are the true stars. My teenage sons would mumble "Dad's playing with his TOY again..." and slip out the front door..

    DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I think this whole thread can easily be closed with "Buyer Beware". Sounds to me like Speedstuff has been great for a lot of people. BUT, if they aren't documented on 3DR's site as "authorized", then see my first sentence. NEXT TOPIC!

First time Pilot, just won a Solo

Congratulations! As you read through these forums, you will hear MANY people would be very excited for you, and some that think you would've won the raffle if you DIDN'T win the Solo. ;) Best advice I can give - print (and read/carry) the manual, fly within sight, be careful and consider, and...

    Android tablet for Solex

If the screen worked, and stopped after the update, then I would try a hard reset. You will lose data, but not the update. You can always backrev it to try that too, and although directions on doing that are easy to find (you do that via a pc), it's a little detailed. One of the Nexus 2013 I got...

    Android tablet for Solex

I have several Nexus 7 2013's purchased on EBay, really cheap. If you find one with a cracked screen, otherwise good (I have 2 like that), you can get screen/digitizer replacements on EBay also, and it's a pretty easy, kinda' fun repair (ok, I am a techie, so fun for me), and come out <$50 if...
